Nominees Name:  Mary Lou Dees
Physical Therapist

I would like to nominate Mary Lou Dees for the Employee Star Award. Whom among us - employees,
our families, or our friends have not benefited from Mary Lou's expertise, her cariing ways,
and gentle (sometimes not so gentle) touch to make everyone better?   Mary Lou is a dedicated
employee who works long hours to take care of her patients, and then tackles all the needed
paperwork with accuracy and knowledge.
We benefit every day that she is here and miss her everyday that she is not; not only for her
work ethic, but also for her beautiful smile.  For these and many more unsaid reasons,
please consider Mary Lou for this very deserving award.

Mary Frances is such a wonder!  She is friendly and helpful, willing to help always, and a
jack of all trades.  She does a great job and is a pleasure to work with.

Admitting

Is the beauty and fragrance of a rose diminished because of a thorn?  I say no, I have a friend that has the most
tender, sweet spirit that I have evern known. Talking to her is like smelling the flowers after a rain.  I say this, when the
shadows give way to light, our rose in the middle of the garden will be Mary Frances.
A rose of a different color.  It is with gratitude I nominate Mary Frances Eloff.  I
say pick the best.

Nominees Name:  Mary Frances Eloff

I have held off nominating Mary Frances Eloff for an employee star award for the past
several years, because I felt it would be perceived as biased, since she is my mom.  In all
honesty, it is biased...just not in the manner that others might imagine.  We tend to be
hrdest and most critical of those whom we love the most, and I am no exception in this
regard.  I expect more from my mom than it is realistic for her to achieve.  Not
surprisingly to many of you however is that she exceeds my expectations frequently!

I received yet another compliment from a patient today about how "Mary Frances...you
know, that short lady on the other end of the hall..."helped him through a very
complicated scheduling process for a procedure, helped calm his anxieties about the
procedure and evencalled later on to check on him to make certain that his questions
were all answered to his satisfaction.  He did not know that "Mary Frances" is my mother.

At least weekly, I receive an unsolicited positive comment about the care they receive
from my mother.  Kindness, patience and caring are the most frequent adjectives I hear.  I
have watched her go above and beyond what is expected for the most important person in
the building...the PATIENT standing in front of her or whom she is on the phone with.  She has
her priorities straight...we are here BECAUSE OF and FOR the patient.

She cares about this facility and is shows in her extra time spent in brightening up the
waiting rooms and setting up and maintaining the ever popular fish tanks...usually on her
own time and at her own expense!

Even when she is having a bad day, the patients don't know it.  She maintains a smile and
a friendly voice for all whom she encounters.  She doesn't hesitate to help out her coworkers and truly
understands the concept of "team".  She is smart, quick on her feet
and doesn't hesitate to ask for help if she doesn't know the answer to a question.  She
makes us all look good!

I am proud to have her work in our facility...and I am very glad that she is my mom.

I respectfully submit her name for the Employee Star Award.
